'Smut' Summer

How 'Smut' Took Over Our Summer Reading Lists

If you’ve ever found yourself in a reading slump, something unexpected could reignite your reading passion. For Clementina Jackson, it was Romantasy, or in her words “faerie porn”. Books like A Court of Thorns & Roses by Sarah J. Mass did it for her. These fantasy books, filled with sexual undertones, have reignited many readers' passion to read offering pure escapism and titillating storylines.

And it wasn’t just her. Searches for “smut books” have surged by 78%.

Colleen Hoover on the Big Screen

We are a couple of weeks away from It Ends With Us hitting the big screen. I still need to read this. I do plan on reading it soon. I’m curious about how well it will do and if it begins to have more Colleen Hoover books adapted as well.
